New York Solidarity Network Statement on the Passing of Joe Lieberman

Joe Lieberman was a proud Jewish Democrat, champion for Israel and never shied away from who he was. His historic nomination as vice president of the United States was a watershed moment for Jews in American politics and he fully recognized and embraced his role as a “first.”
